A mouthwatering Afghan cornbread recipe.
Ingredients

1 Cup Milk
 - 
4 Eggs
 - 
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
 - 
1 1/4 Cup Sugar
 - 
1 1/2 Cup Oil
 - 
1 Tablespoon Cardamom Powder
 - 
1 teaspoon baking powder
 - 
2 cups of maize flour
 - 
1 1/2 cup All Purpose flour
 - 
Sesame seeds (for topping
 - 
Nigella seeds (for topping)
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 360°F
 - Crack eggs and whisk
 - Add milk, whisk more.
 - Add your dry ingredients one by one and slowly incorporate them
 - Place parchment paper into a 9×16 or 9×13 cake pan.
 - Pour mixture into pan and sprinkle with nigella and sesame seeds.
 - Bake at 360 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Note that this is oven-sensitive, so bake until golden brown on top and a toothpick comes out clean.
