This Instant Chai Recipe is actually 3 chai recipes in one. Really not so much a recipe, but more of a mix list. Package these up for yourself or friends.
Ingredients
Instant Afghan Chai
1 C Green Tea
4 Teaspoons Ground Cardamom
A few strands of high quality Saffron
Instant Masala Chai
1 Cup Black Tea
1 Tablespoon Ground Ginger
1 Tablespoon Ground Black Cardamom
1 Tablespoon of Ground Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Ground Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Star Anise
Warm Milk (To your liking)
Instant Afghan Sheer Chai
1 Cup Black Tea
1/2 Cup Powdered Milk
1/2 Cup Non-Dairy Creamer
1/2 Cup Sugar
Instructions
Instant Afghan Chai
First, make your tea mix. Take the black tea, cardamom, and saffron and mix together. Once mixed, make your hot water in the kettle. Experiment with what’s best, but take your hot water and for a small tea pot use one heaping teaspoon of your chai mixture. Let steep and then enjoy.
Instant Masala Chai
First, make your spice mix. Make sure you grind all your spices that need grinding. You will need to add sugar to your liking when time to drink. Add a huge spoonful of chai mix to teapot. Add hot water. Add two big teaspoons of sugar. May like if add more. Let your tea and sugar steep. Then for each individual cup, full tea 1/3 of cup then rest of cup with the hot milk. Enjoy.
Instant Sheer Chai
Take two heaping teaspoons of the instant sheer chai mix. Pour over hot water. Let steep for a few minutes. Then, poor into teacup and enjoy.
