We have the best sauces, and Afghan tomato chutney is no different. It goes well with any dish you can think of.

What is Chutney?

Chutney is a type of sauce that is made from various fruits or vegetables. If you are not Afghan, you’ve probably eaten or heard of chutneys most with Indian food.

But other cultures have chutneys, too. Our green chutney is super popular and is our most-viewed video on YouTube!

Afghan Tomato Chutney

I got this recipe from an Afghan friend who recently moved to America from Afghanistan.

This chutney is excellent for any meat or rice dish. Our meat and rice dishes are pretty rich, and to have something a little sour and a little hot is a nice break up in flavors.

Serve this chutney over our Afghan bolani pizza.
