Ramadan Drink – Coffee Date Shake

Who does not love a good Ramadan drink recipe?

Ramadan is a time of year when Muslims worldwide focus on their faith and spend time with family and friends. It can be challenging to stay hydrated, especially during the morning and evening hours when we are not allowed to eat or drink.

That’s why we’ve come up with this delicious coffee date milkshake! This shake is made with dates, a nutritious fruit that provides plenty of energy and hydration for Ramadan.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Dates

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has said: “Break your fast with dates, as they are the blessed fruit.” Dates have been a staple food in the Middle East for centuries and are known for their nutritional value.

They are high in fiber, potassium, and antioxidants. Ramadan is the perfect time to enjoy this delicious and nutritious fruit!

The Dalgona Coffee

Dalgona coffee is a Korean iced coffee drink that has become popular all over the world. It is made with whipped coffee and milk, and often served over ice.

This recipe is basically a combination of my date shake recipe, and the popular Dalgona coffee.

Caffeine has numerous health benefits:

  • improves memory
  • decreases fatigue
  • improves your mental functioning

Description

I have a previous date shake recipe here. This shake recipe adds my other love, coffee. Makes it a perfect morning suhoor.


Ingredients

Scale

2 Cups Milk

1 Cup Frozen Banana

5 Dates

3 Tablespoons Peanut Butter

1 Cup Yogurt

3 Teaspoons Instant Coffee

5 Teaspoons Sugar

5 Teaspoons Water


Instructions

1. Make your coffee mixture. Take instant coffee, water, and sugar and blend with mixer and make fluffy. Set this aside.

2. Add milk, peanut butter, dates, bananas, and yogurt. Blend until smooth.

3. Next pour your shake, then pour the coffee mixture over it.

4. Finally, stir the coffee mixture into the shake mixture before serving.
